To Anyone Who’s Ever Given Me A Hard Time (About Anything!)

I always aim to express the real me. I aim to be all those cliches: true to myself, the real me, give my heart… all of it. I do this with good reason, it is the key to success, which I’m all about. On that note, here is a message I wrote (and made pretty) to everyone who expected the best from me, but weren’t ready or even aiming to offer the same in return. I understand. I caused it, I created it, and I’m cool with it. Thank you for making me stronger. I don’t even know if they read SpiritSentient, but they’re out there. You know who you are.

To anyone who’s ever silently discouraged, closed down, or given me a hard time about…
ANYTHING:

I don’t see you how I used to.

It seemed like you were the only people
who really got me, and I was feeling so
misunderstood back then.

I believed you understood my vision,
when you weren’t really ready.

Maybe I let it go on too long.

Now that I’ve taken a stand, I know I
don’t NEED YOU to understand me,
I don’t even need to be understood.

Don’t get me? Don’t wanna get me?
Good. That’s totally cool.

All I want is win-win, mutual success…
…but I was completely f#@!ed in the head.

I was going about it the wrong way.

You wanted it all from me the easy way,
but without change or growth.
I’ve never been about that.

I’m about my people. I’m about those
who connect with me and
who actively want
to be part of what I’m doing.

I am so glad I spoke up.

I’m glad it was a little raw.
I’m happy to see if our
relationship can stand an
honest, focused, selfish me.

I encourage your success.
Do what you love.
Do whatever works for you.

You guys were there for me when I needed you.

Now, I’m feeling proud of the work I’m doing.
Now, great ideas are flowing.
Now, I’m ahead of the game.
Now, I’m in the zone.

The only people who come to me now
are the people who are a match to me.

I get people with fresh ideas.
I get change-makers.
I get ones who are interested.

I hang with other happy, successful people
who really love what they do, and it’s
all thanks to you.

I grew.

I grew, and I called you all to come along. You still can, if you want.

My hand’s always out-stretched, if you’re up for the journey.

    That was great.

    I have yes.

I often express with my full heart, and perhaps it is too much for some, as they may just change the subject, or ignore I even said anything.

Yes that irritated me, yet, as you said, I have grown stronger and better from it, as I keep my focus where it needs to be, which is within myself and my aspirations.

I too am attracting different people, and I am appreciating how it happens effortlessly as I align with what is right for me, and what I aspire towards, even if I am not crystal clear.

I like how you still handed out the invitation to come along for the ride, and I will ad, before all the seats are taken.

Not that you would exclude, but I am sure you get that.
