Buddhism can be summed up with the phrase, “we are all one”. That sentence may appear simple at face value, but it contains so many more layers.
Christianity can be boiled down to “love thy God, and love thy neighbor as thyself”. Just like above, this sentence embodies the majority of what Christianity is about. In the same way, this post has many layers.
Sharing is fun might sound like the punchline to a Dr. Seuss book but it’s so much more.
Humanity is all about experience, and we can share so many. We can share happiness as well as sadness, abundance as well as lack, love as well as hate. Still, we are all sharing. When I was younger, I may have shared a lot of negativity. When people would talk to me, I might focus on some criticism or “flaw” but now, I’ve made a conscious decision to share more and more positivity with the world everyday. We can never really escape or step outside this “system” of sharing experiences. Every choice we make either puts something out into the world or absorbs something in. And so, everything is the pure and simple act of choosing what to share. It’s beautiful really.
I’m aware that this may seem a little out there or vague but if you think about it, you may see the truth in it. Every breath can be filled with stress, tension and aggression, or it can be relaxed, peaceful and tranquil.
Abundance
If you want to share abundance with the world, then truly enjoy and appreciate demonstrating it. For example, give something small to someone else. And really enjoy doing it. And buy something for yourself, without worrying at all about your financial situation. Just enjoy it. Share it with love.
Joy
If you want to share joy, then truly appreciate being joyous. Call up someone whom may or may not be expecting you, and share one or two good things about your day or life. It may truly surprise and touch them. Everyone loves a positive person, even if they think they don’t.
Appreciation
If you want to share praise and appreciation, make a decision to listen to someone. It can be someone you love to listen to, or someone you usually dismiss, or someone you’ve never heard of at all. And focus on one or two good things they’ve said or done. And give them feedback and recognition, in whatever way feels good.
It’s your choice
If you want to share negative things, call someone up and bitch about your day. Or go out with someone and try to manipulate them into paying for you. Because life’s just so hard. The choice is yours. Most people experience both. And it’s all sharing. And sharing is fun. That’s really the key thing; there’s no judgement between the positive and the negative. Because it’s all the same. It’s all the sharing of experiences.

After all, like Buddhism says, “we are all one”
