inspiration: shock effect – the comic.

I’d like to take a minute to promote the awesome creation of an acquaintance of mine. ian daffern and john lang’s comic, shock effect. the comic is currently in 3rd on dc comics’ competition site, Zuda, and its a great read. The teaser can be seen here. It’s a cool sci-fi suspense comic about a family living through an alien invasion, check it out.

ian’s a great writer, john’s a great artist. my brother nick and i worked with ian some years ago on a cd compilation (nick had a song on the album, and i did the cd cover,) and i bumped into him again recently at a random neil gaiman discussion meet i went to.
