From The Net: Truly Inspirational Vol. 2

I really really enjoy all the amazing things I come across (and seem to attract) from the internet. This edition contains everything from typography to loans-that-change-lives (so awesome.)

1. Back To Essentials Inspiring Typography – Great, inspirational minimalist typography.
2. Inspirational and insightful quotes – Some people have some very powerful words to share.
3. 21 Radical Rugs – Web Urbanist – This is creative and interesting to me. Rugs, not something one would often give a lot of thought to, demonstrate a new level in this post.
4.Attractive Logo Designs – Near and dear to my heart, behold some truly inspirational logo design.
5.Toxel’s Electric Outlet Creative – To go with the rugs… Outlets!
6.Best Nature Photography – Wonder how long a photographer had to wait for these shots? Just right place right time, or a long wait of research and prep?
8.Amazing Home Office Setups – Being a corporate drone doesn’t have to equal being a corporate drone…
9. Best Micrograph Images – LOL, disease, parasite, or… art?
10.Amazing Bookstores – Uhmm, amazon.com’s got nothin’ on the atmosphere of these.
11. 17 Insanely modded game controllers – Yes, yes, more inspiration and quirky creativity.
12. Best Vector Illustrations – Hawtness. To think I never used to appreciate vectors.

13. 45 Beautiful motion blur photos from Smashing Magazine – Soooo good.

13. Great designs by Abduzeedo – This whole site is phenomenal, but I thought I’d link this great designs best-of post.

And its not just lists of creative goodness…
Here are some individuals and ideas that are pretty damn cool:

Kiva.org – allows individuals to make loans starting at $25 to low-income entrepreneurs in the developing world, also known as microcredit. By doing so, you can provide affordable working capital for the poor (money to buy a sewing machine, livestock, etc.), empowering them to earn their way out of poverty. LOVE THIS.
The Art of Non-Conformity – "Nothing pains some people more than having to think." -Martin Luther King, Jr. It’s okay to be the square peg in the round hole.
ConstructZero.org – This is a new type of organization. It is a philanthropic research center, the funds for which will be provided by a sister commercial technology incubator, supported by a global social network.
InventorSpot.com – Inventorspot.com is a site that works mainly as Mashable or TechCrunch, only its’ content is about object inventions, like robotics, furniture, house and industrial design.
Going Bananas For Energy – You’ve heard of "green" fuel. Now get ready for yellow as scientists have found a way to turn banana waste into a sustainable fuel source that could be relevant to many countries across Africa.

That wraps it up for now, I need a break from the screen. It occurs to me these list posts can take quite a bit of time/effort. :) I’d love to hear if you like any part of it!
