Creation begets creation.

Quite some time ago I created a work that I have since received many, many compliments on. Stepping Through, seems to attract and inspire a large majority of people who see it, which is wonderful.

This time instead of verbal acknowledgment, someone has sent me a beautiful creation which seems directly inspired/related to it. A person I met by ‘random chance’ through e-mail roulette (a site where people send out an e-mail into the internet aether and another randomly receives it and chooses to respond or not) going by the name ‘Echolalia’, has kindly allowed me to share her poem with you.

she draws conclusions
on the wall with soft graphite
–as trees;
and starsets on ceiling’d stucco.

she will silently step
into the plaster forest
as her pencil rolls frantically
for the door.

Beautiful isn’t it? She has quite a way with words, and I’m glad. I’d link her if I could
