Great post, man. I’ve always been a big fan of David Deida…being exposed to his ideas a few years ago was an epiphany.

It was years before that, that my (soon to be ex-)wife told me she didn’t trust me…and I didn’t know why, since of course, I’d never lie, cheat or steal from her.

The real reason she didn’t trust me, was because I didn’t understand yet what you’ve described in your post…I was too disconnected from my purpose, and unable to stay grounded and calm so that she could feel free to be as expressive and in-the-moment as she wanted and needed.

Yes, that is powerful stuff.
