Are You Missing A Key Point To The Law Of Attraction?

Are you missing a key point of Law of Attraction?

You might be. Are you getting everything you want quickly, well, and in better ways than you imagined?

Since The Secret came out, and Eckhart Tolle was lauded by Oprah, and Jim Carrey spoke on his Awakening, Toronto’s been more abuzz than ever about the Law Of Attraction.

It’s understandable – our world has become complex, and in this complexity and it appears that many have lost sight of the simple yet deep universal concepts and laws that got us as far as we are as a species.

Not everyone though, and many still are leading the way and promoting awareness of universal principles and laws. There are messengers speaking loudly, and those more quietly, and here’s a little clarification for some of them.

Law of Attraction is not a new law – it’s always been around.

Proverbs 23:7 says it: "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he."

Buddha says it: "We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world."
Dhammapada

Muhammad says it: "Actions are judged by intentions, so each man will have what he intended."

Law of Attraction can get you what you want.

It can, it really, really, can. So many people though, confuse what they want. They may say one thing out loud, but then think a million contradicting things throughout their days.

Here’s some inspired typographic-style words on the topic, inspired by the good people over at GoodVibeBlog.com (where it’s received great response, which is really nice.)

I was reading one of your recommended sites that talked a lot about the art of allowing. Which is in line with this article. We attract what we think. Too often i find myself over analyzing and ending up wasting the thought all together. When a thought comes up that is in line with my personal dreams, i embrace it and hope for it to arise again. When a thought aries that is out of suit of my personal desires i attempt to look for a cause and make a note to see if it occurs again. This of course could be a tell tale sign of a fear or issue that needs attention. The really fun ones are when you realize you have a fear. For me, dancing in public. When ever someone suggest’s we go to a club or dance at a party… oh man waterfall of reasons why i can’t or shouldn’t and this dear in headlights look sweeps across my face. Its a work in progress. The great part is that when you see those thoughts as this funny thing you need to work through, they no longer hold you captive and the sky is the limit.

Yesterday i sept outside. I looked up at the magnificent sky and saw a shooting star. The most wonderful feeling swept over my whole being. I had nothing to wish for, i don’t need magic to create what i want. Everyday is magic, once you let go you know.

@Jeannette: Thanks so much for the kind words and energy. I can tell you really love it :) It actually inspired another one I’ll be posting soon about relationships.

@Melodie: Fantastic Melodie, thanks so much for sharing that. It’s really beautiful and I think it can help a lot of people. Maybe I’ll introduce you to Arthur, he had Tori + I dancing in a parking lot.
